good question. we are seperate right now, but we are planning on opening a joint account for our wedding money. then i think we will figure it out from there and probably continue to use it for the household expenses and everything once we are married.

FH and I both have our own separate bank accounts but then we also have a joint account that we put all of the money we are saving for the wedding.
Right now I pay all of the bills. Each month I tell them what they come out to and what his share is. Although most of the time I tell him to put it in the wedding account and I leave it there!

Ever since we moved in together we have had a joint checking account. Once we got engaged we started a joint savings....we both have our own checking & savings as well

We have a joint checking and savings but we also have individual accounts.. I dont know if we will keep our individual accounts after we get married or just have a joint account.

We have our own checking/savings accounts, I also have a savings account through his job that we recently made joint, but I'm the only one who has money in it since it was mine first. He then opened a joint checking at the same location but he's the only one using it, I'll start using it when we're in the same location again.

FH and I both have our own checking accounts to pay our bills out of and get our check wired into.. but we also have a joint savings together now that we are engaged ![]()
BOA makes it really easy to transfer funds online or even on your phone ![]()

We each have two separate accounts (checking and savings) and we have a joint savings account. All of the gifts we got for the e-party we put in there and same for the wedding.
After we are married we will put half our pay check in there and our bills will be paid out of that account. I feel like that is only fair.

we have 2 checking accounts a 'bill pay' account and a 'spending' account. We also have a savings account
We deposit FH's entire check into our bill pay account-- from this account we pay all our bills : mortgage, cable, RH payments, cell phones etc etc....
in our other checking account we deposit our 'spending money' this is self explanatory we only SPEND from this account
and then the money we have left over goes into our 'savings account'
I'm sharing this because when FH and i moved in last year we were paying bills without the other one knowing or overspending... and our bills got out of control... everything is soo organized now and our bank pays our bills through bill pay we've been able to save a TON of money and still pay for the wedding....

FH and i both have seperate saving and checking accounts and once we got engaged we set up a joint account that we use for wedding stuff and save for wedding stuff and once we are marred that will be our called our condo fund..lol where we put money into it every week or so. we call our savings our wedding fund...lol
