Oh no....that is horrible, I am worried too, haven't started looking and want to get married late summer/early fall!! Hopefully you'll find something that works .....and $50 pp!! that is insane, where was it?

Re: What the Hell?

Honestly I would expect most of next summer to be booked. When we started looking 18 months in advance one of the places we looked at had 2 dates available for the summer of the next year.

Are they atleast dates that you can work with??? But a $50 increase from this year?? that's huge. Are they doing some sort of major renovation or menu upgrade to warrant an increase like that??

I'm not surprised they are booked. I booked my hall a year and a half in advance and had some trouble!

If you book them in 2003, you should get 2003 prices.

$50 is insane!! What hall is it?

Yes, $ 50 seems like an outrageous increase!! There are so many beautiful places out there - keep searching if you can because $ 50 x # of people REALLY adds up!

You should check out the East Wind that is where I am getting married and I am sure they have your date available. They have so many buildings and new rooms that they usually have an opening. Also if you have a 150 or less wedding you could try Giorgios or Rock Hill Country Club.

Re: What the Hell?

They have multiple building which each hold one wedding. But the Inn has two, but the brides and their parties never see each other and they each have their own lobby and bathrooms so It is almost like two seperate buildings. So as for presence yes it feels like one wedding at a time. But price wise they charge you as if it is not. You have to go check it out to see what I am talking about with the new building. Food and prices are great. Me and my fiance think that the East Wind is amazing.
