*~Y is for Youngins~*

Hello Ladies -

Your letter of the week is

Y for Youngins!

Are you girls have an 'adult only' wedding or will the little ones be joining the party? Explain your reason for either.

We don't have any children in either of our families so this wasn't really an issue for us - but we have some friends who have children and may have children by the time we are married. Either way - they will not be invited.

Not big on children at these kinds of events - I never wanted a flower girl or RB so it will be adults only.

My flower girl and her older brother will definitely be there. Also my FH has a Very small family so he has about 3 little ones that are coming too they are like 5, 8, and 9. I love little kids , i don't mind having some at the reception they make everything so cute!

We are having kids. FH has newphews and we both have younger cousins that we are close to and wouldn't want to exclude. Just a handful of kids.

We will only be having 3 children total at the wedding - my 2 RBs and 1 FG. My nephew (an RB) will actually only be there for the church because my brother and SIL want to 'party' and so her mother will be babysitting that night LOL. The other two will most likely be dancing the night away at the reception.

same here...
makes it a lot easier to decide since we don't have many children in our family (or any that we're close to). My first cousin (who lives almost by Pittsburgh) just had 2 kids, but I never met them, so they will not be invited.
After being in my friend's wedding and seeing her flower girl, let's just say, I'm glad I don't have a FG or RB! I think the pix with lil kids are soooo soooo cute, but I'd only want a FG or RB that I was really close to and since we're not close with any kids, we're not having them

I wanted an Adult Only reception but my 3 year old niece (will be 4 then) is the flower girl and the wedding is at the RH so she'll probably stay and i honestly really want here there anyway cause i love her SO much; and then FH has 2 nephews who will be 15; and a niece who will be 8 or 9; so that's not really kids...Oh and my 10 year old god son might be there.

But no other guests will be inivited with kids

I love kids and I want my niece to be to be our flower girl - she will be 3ish.

That being said, she is the only baby we have in our circle of family and friends so we wouldn't get any kids even if we allowed them.

We're not really including kids except my 2 little cousins (who will be 10 and 6).

If it were really up to us we'd say no kids, period. But since my aunt included me in her BP I can't very well not even invite the kids (basically the compromise so I don't have to include the terror children in my BP).

our wedding is adult only. The reason is that we have no little kids in either of our families. If we did, I think it would still be adult only - except if I had a niece or nephew or something that was going to be flower girl/ ring bearer.

Adults only. The only children that will be there are the flower girl (if I have one) and the ring bearer. I love kids, but I just feel like a wedding really isnt the place for them. Most parents love a night out without their kids anyway :)

Mostly adults, we will have the flower girl, ring bearer and Jr. BM and GM. If I added all the kids it would be an extra 35 just from my side of the family and the would be to much.

We are just having our neices and nephews at the wedding. They are all either preteens or teens. I would love to have everyone's kids but it just gets too expensive. Besides I think that people going like to be 'kidless'...way more fun!

I'm having an adult only wedding. The only two kids at my wedding will be my niece and nephew.

I'm not crazy about kids, and it's mine and FH's special day, not a zoo or a daycare.

We will have limited kids there. Kids of very close relatives. I don't mind kids there, but I don't want it to be overrun with kids, and kids under 10 are half price, which is still $65++ and kids over 10 are full price, so it become really expensive.

We are only have my 2 nephews who are RB they will be 3 and 4 and the flower girl which is FH neice she will be almost 3. that's so crazy that kids over 10 are full price-I'm finding most halls do that; but still a 14 year old isnt going to drink; why should we have to pay for the open bar costs for them??
