Yahoo & Ebay Passwords Stolen

UGH - Someone changed my ebay password & yahoo account info. so I can't get any of my mail - plus, I lost all my email addresses...

Has anyone had this happen to them before?
I have emailed yahoo numerous times and they haven't responded to me - I guess they are too big and don't care. I can retrieve my addresses from friends, but I had a pen pal from Australia's email - that sort of stuff...

Ebay was taken care of immediately - anyone have this happen w/ Yahoo before?

Re: Yahoo & Ebay Passwords Stolen

That stinks. I've never had that problem with Yahoo but I'll definitely be on the lookout for suspicious stuff...

Re: Yahoo & Ebay Passwords Stolen

It happened to me b/f on Ebay...like a year ago...
Someone hacked into my userid and changed my password and started selling Plasma TV's...the only way I knew was that people started emailing me about shipping costs...
so I contacted ebay and changed all my info.

Last week I was unable to get into Yahoo and then tried Ebay and no luck...so I got on IM with cust. service person and they confirmed for me that someone changed my password and email address...so I contacted yahoo too to let them know and I haven't heard a word from them.

Luckily, they didn't do a thing w/ my credit card.

Ensure you have Anti-Virus and Spy-Ware running on your machine.

Re: Yahoo & Ebay Passwords Stolen

At my office & house we have anti-virus and all that...sometimes my company will not allow me to send emails of pics even if it's of a co-workers kid...they are really strict about it.

People have too much time on their hands...
Make sure you change you password every month on Ebay - I didn't...so now I know -
