yarmulkes
hiI’m getting married at Fox Hollow on Sept 28th, do I need to buy yarmulkes for all guests? The ceremony will be a Jewish ceremony performed by a rabbi but will be at fox hollow not a Temple. It only lasts 30 minutes. The groomsmen will have yarmulkes but I’m not sure if I need to provide them for everyone attending. If it was in a Temple I would but being that its not I’m not sure if I have to.
Any suggestions?

yarmulkes
You don't HAVE to provide them, but if you want people to wear them, it's probably a good idea to provide them. First, if you have guests coming who aren't Jewish, or not on the religious side, they won't even know to bring their own yarmulkes. And even if you have Jewish guests, I think men tend to not think about it, because in most instances (bar mitzvahs, bris), they are provided for the guests. If you don't feel you need them to match your color scheme or be personalized, ask if your Rabbi can provide them from the temple. They may be those flimsy black ones they give out, but if it doesn't matter to you, that would probably be the best way to go.
