ok please give honest opinions, i would like to get an idea of how my guests would feel about it so thats why i want someone to be honest if they dont like it or think its stupid or any problems they see with it.
Ok for place cards i have 2 ideas. One of them is to do this whole tree place card thing. I have a picture of it but its done as a wishing well tree instead, i have a pic somewhere and it was done the same way but with placecards. I love the way it looks but then i think of problems such as ppl having to look all around it for their name, people pulling one side then the other, shorter ppl not reaching lol. The pic i saw where it was done for place cards it was on a long string and you just pull it off the branch easily.
Here is apic where it was done as a wishing well tree to give you an idea but the name tags with table numbers would look the same way hanging off, and would have to get more branches
i wish i had a pic of it used as placecards but cant find it right now

I like this...but that is alot of trees and you have to make sure you have the room for the trees. There are 27 letters in the alphabet...so you would have to figure how many trees you would need to do it this way....not a bad idea tho

I really like the idea but you may want to do something that is easier for people to find their names and tables.

It is a cute idea but I was thinking of those exact problems. Also, just to be considered, you will be having quite a few people possibly making it a bit more challenging to find cards. I don't know if you could put them in alphabetical order somehow on the tree.... But, if you could work around these things I do think its a nice idea.

yeah i would have to look at my guestlist to figure out if this would even work. Well my 'E' and 'G' trees would be FILLED and would need their own lol bc all of fh's family is either E or G well most of them.
Then there are some letters you dont see alot such xyz also q or u so hmmm maybe. Also until i get all RSVPS back will be hard to determine

its cute but i think kinda the same as the other idea in the sense that people would have to wait behind others to see where they are sitting. Plus not sure where they would put it bc thinking of where our place card table is and not sure...but thank you

I love the idea... I had seen something like it (it was acutally a Christmas tree place card idea though and I really like how it was diffrent.

I think it's very different and cute...but I think it would be hard for people to find their card...especially since you are having a larger wedding!

i love your tree idea....very different....my friend did something similar for her wedding last december, only used what looked like a small version of a christmas tree....love the idea

I love this idea, I watch this site everyday and when I saw this placecard idea my jaw dropped. I really want to do this but i don't think I will have the time... I would definately say YAY!! It's absolutely beautiful!
