ok please give honest opinions, i would like to get an idea of how my guests would feel about it so thats why i want someone to be honest if they dont like it or think its stupid or any problems they see with it.
Ok for place cards i have 2 ideas. One of them is to do this whole tree place card thing. I have a picture of it but its done as a wishing well tree instead, i have a pic somewhere and it was done the same way but with placecards. I love the way it looks but then i think of problems such as ppl having to look all around it for their name, people pulling one side then the other, shorter ppl not reaching lol. The pic i saw where it was done for place cards it was on a long string and you just pull it off the branch easily.
Here is apic where it was done as a wishing well tree to give you an idea but the name tags with table numbers would look the same way hanging off, and would have to get more branches
i wish i had a pic of it used as placecards but cant find it right now

What if you alphabetized it from left to right, and then have a little note next to it telling that to the guests?

What if you do do 4 trees
1) family of the groom 2) family of the bride 3) friends of the families 4) friends of the bride and groom
THEN, alphabetize each of the 4 trees from left to right?

I love this idea, I watch this site everyday and when I saw this placecard idea my jaw dropped. I really want to do this but i don't think I will have the time... I would definately say YAY!! It's absolutely beautiful!
well i can give suggestions on how to do it and quickly if you really want and you can have others help you. Are you talking about the 4 potted branches? if so maybe ask your florist about it, or buy it yourself, if i do it i am going to buy it myself in the wholesale district. The bottom part wont take long to put fabric on it and just put the ribbon and rhinestone over, that will seriously take just minutes to do, the ribbon part. The placecards themselves you can print the names or have a calligrapher do it, they charge about .25 cents per placecard. Putting the string on each one can take longer so maybe have your bm's or somebody help you and that you all can do in one day along with the crystals

I think it looks pretty, but I don't kow how practical it is, esp for a big wedding... that's a lot of cards to sort through!

hahaaha thank you, well most people said no bc it might be incovenient for guests to look for their names and might get annoying bc of that. I posted another one with 4 trees and alphabetizing it so that would make it easier
