YAY or NAY on place card idea

ok please give honest opinions, i would like to get an idea of how my guests would feel about it so thats why i want someone to be honest if they dont like it or think its stupid or any problems they see with it.

Ok for place cards i have 2 ideas. One of them is to do this whole tree place card thing. I have a picture of it but its done as a wishing well tree instead, i have a pic somewhere and it was done the same way but with placecards. I love the way it looks but then i think of problems such as ppl having to look all around it for their name, people pulling one side then the other, shorter ppl not reaching lol. The pic i saw where it was done for place cards it was on a long string and you just pull it off the branch easily.

Here is apic where it was done as a wishing well tree to give you an idea but the name tags with table numbers would look the same way hanging off, and would have to get more branches

i wish i had a pic of it used as placecards but cant find it right now

I think it looks so cool BUT i do agree that it would be hard to find your name and people would be crowded around it struggling.

its true although Fh would probably like it he suggested we do table numbers in roman numbers and i said unfortunately not everybody knows the roman numerals well and he said thats the point he thought it'd be histerical but yeah have to make it easy

I LOVE the idea, but you have alot of guests and it might turn into complete chaos.

its so true, and i said ppl will even probably get confused with tables 4 and 5 WOW its not taught anymore, that is crazy

I love the way the tree looks, it's such a pretty and different idea, but i agree with what a lot of girls on here said. With that many guests, there is bound to be an accident and you'll need a crazy big tree. You also have to keep in mind, the shorties (like me) who won't be able to reach.

i think its a different idea and it def looks great! however, i agree with some others, i think its going to be too frustrating for people to scan the tree to find their card, they will be waiting there for way too long

What about a scroll? since you have so many guests attending that will be a way for you not to have to put them all out on a table

What about a scroll? since you have so many guests attending that will be a way for you not to have to put them all out on a table

i havent seen this whole scroll idea, what does it look like. Is it like a seating chart? bc that might be just as difficult with people gathering around looking for their name

What if you did the same idea...except instead of like a potted tree-take branches etc. and tac them onto like cork board, etc. and place the placecards on the cork board.....almost like a picture on the wall but obviously larger-in my head it sounds cute but picturing it I dont know if it would look like a 1st grade art project

ok at least you understood- and you would hand the place cards on the branches just like yu would on a real tree except its like a poster tree As I am trying to vision this I am laughing.
