Yea! Mh DH just left for the weekend....

and I'm going to re-do the bathroom to surprise him! I'm off and headed to Home Depot! We always joke about being on While You Were Out, so I thought this would be fun! I'll let you know how it goes!

februarybride, no, but would you mind giving me a hand???? I just made it back from Home Depot and dinner with my mom (who is helping me through this) and couldn't believe how much $ I spent already on paint, primer, celing paint, moulding, window treatment, brushes etc! It will be well worth it though! I'll keep everyone posted.

Jenn, I am going to do the walls in the sandwash finishes from behr. It will be a light taupey color (it's called riverbed). The bathroom I am redoing is an extra bathroom we put in. We had a very large utility room that had nothing in it when we bought the house. We turned one half of it into a laundry/mud room and the other into a bathroom. My DH and I did most of the work ourselves. We tore down the old sheet rock and panneling, tore up the floor, then we had the plumber do all the plumbing for the washer, sink, shower, and toilet. We tiled the shower and floor ourselves. All that's left to do is frame out the new window we put in, put moulding around it and make a sill, put moulding around the floor and ceiling, put up showerdoors, paint the entire room, hang a mirror, and put in two light fixtures. WHEW! So far I have painted teh ceiling. My parents are on their way over to help with the rest. I got up at 7AM to start, but had to leave for a few hours to get my hair done. Well, enough with LIW for now. My break is over. I will post pics later!
