i met w/ a florist yesterday who made me feel really weird about having pink roses in my bo-k. we're having leaf green dresses w/ bright yellow roses. when i said i wanted freesia, deep pink roses, and green cymbidium orchids for my bo-k, her response (with regard to the pink) was 'holy baby shower.' she suggested a yellow bo-k, but my dress will be ivory, and i'm not sure about the combo bc i want color that's really going to pop against the dress.
opinions on the look of a yellow bo-k w/ an ivory dress? does anyone have pics they can share?

I would be so offended... you asked her for a price quote, not her opinions! That comment leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth!

honestly, i had that thought, but there was something about her blunt honesty that i appreciated. i didn't feel like i was dealing w/ a used car salesman, ya know? i was rattled tho bc then i felt like i didn't know what the heck i wanted w/ my whole color scheme thrown off.
