I'm contemplating if I should bother to get cameras for each table. Who is doing this?
Should I bother?

Re: Yes or No...to Table Cameras???
No, not worth the extra expense. Besides why am I paying my photographer $$$$$$ if he's not going to get all the important shots???

Re: Yes or No...to Table Cameras???
I am not... my friends will bring their own cameras and send me the pics they take. One of my friends did the table cameras at her wedding, and she said it was a total waste; that most people took pictures of the bride and groom, which came out crappy and were pretty much the same shots the photographer took. She said spending the money to develop all the pictures and the very few good ones they got was just not worth it. My friends love to take pics, so I will rely on them and their digital cameras.

Re: Yes or No...to Table Cameras???
I think I'll have cameras only on a few tables. I'm most likely having 20-25 tables at my wedding so the expense of developing all those shots would be too much.

Re: Yes or No...to Table Cameras???
To me, the table cameras were SO worth it! The pics make me laugh! If you do choose to do it, I highly recommend getting name brand cameras because I've heard most wedding cameras don't take good quality pics.
I did a table camera scavenger hunt for each table. The poem & picture list is in my review
I love pics but I think the table cameras are a waste. IMO I feel either people forget to use them or the pics they do take aren't that good (mostly because they forget the flash).

Re: Yes or No...to Table Cameras???
You have to think about what your family and friends are like. I know my family takes good photographs and will grab the moments of spantanuity (sp?) that the photographer won't get. For this reason, we're getting table cameras and if they aren't all used up, we'll take them on our honeymoon and the breakfast the following morning to use up!

Re: Yes or No...to Table Cameras???
Definitely YES!!!!!!!!!! It is a very small expense and totally worth it, IMO.
Our guests took some great pics! We’re very happy we did it.

I was going to, but I am not going to anymore- just another expense and I will have so many from the photographer and the many people who will have their digi cams. I may put one on the head tables...but thats it
I felt the same way, but now I feel I wished I did, becasue I wanted more pictures -- oh well
But if you do decide do them, I would definately do a TABLE CAMERA SCAVENGER HUNT, so you get the pictures you want and a variety of them.
I'm gonna get a few and give them to people I know will take some good, fun shots.

I plan to get them. I like the idea of putting them with a 'scavenger hunt' list of photos, to minimalize the butt pics!

Re: Yes or No...to Table Cameras???
were not- we have alot of photographers and everyone has digital cameras anyway... Plus our photographer has no problem with taking pictures of guests so they all can go up to them and get pics taken

We're doing the camera thing. Not those wedding camera's though. Heard the pictures are terrible. But 1 camera for each table. Thats plenty!!

IMO it's worth it. We got some really great shots. Plus, my mom bought a few extra cameras so I made a list of pics I wanted, and her friends were nice enough to take them for me.

Re: Yes or No...to Table Cameras???
I am not doing them... i say half of them dont get used, half of them are crappy pics.. i'd rather spend that $ on a second photographer if you dont already have one and have him/her just snap away... i knwo to add a 2nd photographer for me will be about 800... so it depends on how much it costs to do that..
