yesterday was my shower too!

it was such a wonderful day! it was at my aunt's lovely house in jersey. thought i was going to my grandpa's 80th birthday party (although i was very very suspicious- his birthday isn't for another week & a half!). it was very overwhelming walking in & seeing all my friends & family!

my mom & bms did such a great job with everything. they rented a tent & tables for the backyard, had the food (tons & tons of it!) catered, gorgeous flowers in these cute watering cans, mini watering cans with little personalized seed packets for the favors, and a carrot cake (flavor of my wedding cake)!

it was exactly what i wanted- tasteful and so enjoyable! they made a big posterboard with pictures of me growing up & the guests had to guess the year. they also made up a constitution for sam & me that is so creative & cute (i'm a history nut)! they had the candles poem which i loved (got all teary!). my moh (metphan) made the most fabulous scrapbook (i had no idea she knew how to scrapbook!) of our engagement through our honeymoon.

i can't thank them enough for such a beautiful day! i'm so excited about all the presents!
