Yet Another Dress Poll

I physically own one of these dresses and have a small deposit on the other.

They're both what I wanted in terms of a fitted beaded bodice with a beaded tulle skirt.

Dress #1 has more white and silver bugle beads whereas dress #2 has more bling facor with rhinestones. I also like he basque waist on dress #2.

Dress shopping has been nothing like I had hoped, and I am really not getting opinions from my mom and sister like I wanted, so I am just REALLY confused.

ETA: You cna see the train of dress #2, Dress #1 only has a sweep train with the same detial as the skirt, no big deal, so I'd probably wear it with a cathedral veil

they are both pretty! I voted for # 2 though.
it all depends on what you want - do you want a lot of bling? i do like the waistline on #2 also

LOVING number 2 - i dunno, i feel like i have seen dress 1 so many times before. Dress 2 has something different about it - maybe the beading or the waist line. I just has a different flair that I don't see in dress 1.

But that's just my opinion

i like #1, I like the beadwork better, plus I like that it doesn't have the boning that #2 has.

do you have pix of you in dress #2? I feel like the dresses always look better on 'real' people, not the models

like the OP, dress #1 is something that i see all the time at bridal stores.
dress #2 really stands out with the waist and the train is to die for!

are you planning on wearing two dresses? or are you undecided and that is why you already own one but you have a deposit on the second?
will you be able to get your money back on the first dress?

I voted for #2 because I thought it was different. I really like the beading and the waistline. They're both beautiful though.

Which one looked better on you in your opinion?

They'e both the same shape, so they're almost equally flattering, but since dress #2 has that booning and the basque waist, I do feel it's more flattering than dress #1, but they both look great on me IMO.

I have pics of me in dress1 (which I have posted) but I don't have dress 2. It was a trunk show. I'll try to go back when the sample comes in and sneak a picture.

I got the first dress for free. I only paid about $180 for the matching veil. If I don't use it, I will sell dress and veil.

The deposit on dress #2 is a small one and I can apply it to my BM dresses if I change my mind.

The reason I was leaning toward #2 was that it is blingier, which is what I wanted, and I really like the basque waist, Also, the corset back and the boning really pull me in and make me look thin, but I think I also look good in dress #1.

The one detail that REALLY bothers me about dress #1 is the beading around the waistline, I feel like it looks really boxy.

I think I'm going to have to try on dress #1 again and take pictures of me in it in my actual dress in my size (the pics I have are of me in the sample, which is smaller), and then get some pics of me in the sample of dress #2.

Dress #2 is a little more of what i envisioned bc of the bling factor and I always wanted a Demetrios, and I never envisioned getting a gown at David's (#1), but I think I could pull off an amazing necklace with dress #1.

Which one do you think is more Cinderella?

Also, it sounds crazy, but I so wish I could bring my FH and get his opinion!
