You Know You're Old When...

You no longer look at the the night before Thanksgiving as the biggest bar night of the year. It's official. I'm 30, and this will be the first year I don't hit a bar. Instead, we have made plans to gather at a friends house and drink merrily there - at least I'm not the oldest one in the room in that setting!

Anyone else have plans?

I met my FH at Club Exit on Thanksgiving Eve. Needless to say, we will be celebrating our 6 year anniversary on Thursday. I will never forget that night. Out of 4000 people packed into the club that night (YES THERE WAS THAT MANY!!) Our eyes connected right in the middle of the dance floor. The rest is history!!

We have been going into the city for the past few years, eating at Isabella's, watching them blow up the floats, then hit a bar. This year I took off from my second job and am going to my best friend's house to do my wedding programs... my how times change!

Maybe I can convince them to go out!

I am on vacation!!! Just mellowing out at home - talk about realizing your old when relaxing sounds exciting - I'll be 32 next week - having angst about really being in my 30's now (although I can still hold onto my early 30's) I'll just work out, clean, catch up with school work and read my book-club book at Starbucks...

FH STILL GOES TO FINLEY'S EVERY YEAR. HIM AND HIS GUYS SIT UNDER THE MOOSEHEAD. ITS THEIR TRADITION.

I am going out tonight, bu not happy about it. I would rather stay home & drink wine! I feel like tonight is worse then New Year's. I know I am getting old cause we used to be in the city at some club every year on Thanksgiving eve-now we hit the local bar.

Staying home with the kids and FH, may go shopping for last minute things for tomorrow. Get all the stuff ready to put up my x-mas tree up on Friday!!!

Can't believe 2006 is almost here!!!!

This will be my last Thanksgiving as a single woman!!!

I have been complaining about this all week. I have to work until 10pm tonight and will have no desire to go out. My sisters are both going into the city and I will not want to take that trek from LI at night. All my friends are staying in....I am old! Lol

We are having dinner w/ friends tonight...I'm sure we'll have a few drinks. But, it aint like the old days where I was out til 4am and slept until noon on Thanksgiving.
