YOU'LL NEVER BELIEVE THIS - UPDATED WITH THE EMAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey girls!! As you may or may not remember a week ago, I posted a message about FH's aunt asking us to RESCHEDULE OUR WEDDING b/c her son is GRADUATING highschool the same day!!! Well, if that isn't bad enough.... here's the update......
FH's aunt emailed FMIL and 'went off' on her saying that she's mad at FMIL and FH because they won't RESCHEDULE our wedding!!! Is she serious???? I'm at a lose for words!!! I am waiting for FMIL to forward the email to me, and I will update you all as to what exactly was said.... Unreal!

'....Weddings can be planned anytime.....sorry it is an inconvenience for
Michael because he is a teacher... and he has to coach in August and East Wind is not available any other time that is 'convenient' for them..... Frankies graduation is Sat. 9 a.m. I should then go run from the graduation around noon home to shower and get ready to run to the church in Smithtown around 2 p.m. go to the reception in the evening??? .... Frankie already told me he doesn't want to have his graduation party the weekend before....I'm disgusted REALLY!!! I made Dawn cry (sorry for that)...it's not directed at her.....it's directed at you and everyone else for not thinking...Michael included....we
now have to accommodate everyone else and you want me to share in their joy when you just messed up Frankie's moment???
i'm not happy, sorry to say....and i think it's selfish on your part and Michael's to think that everyone should accommodate you now......So....no one thinks they should call Frankie and say 'gee frankie....we
weren't thinking....we really sorry we didn't really think this through.....' Too Much......you just think we're supposed to go cheerfully through this like it's no big deal....it is a big deal Linda!!!'

I wish she was kidding!!! Our ceremony is at 2:45 and the graduation is at 9 am. The receptoin is at 7:30. She wants to have the party the next day....not the day off but feels she can't now b/c me and FH ruined her plans b/c NO ONE will come to the graduation party b/c of our wedding.....

that is really nuts.

i'll be honest, i've had some family members mad at me because i held my engagement party on the same day as a co-worker's wedding. but she got over it really quickly and it is forgotten.

after that showdown, i asked everyone about everything. but i really don't understand why they can't go to the graduation, go to your wedding and have a great bbq with all the fam (like a 'after wedding/grad. party') the next day. i mean, when i was graduating, i didn't even WANT my party the same day caues i wanted to go out and party with all my friends.

i bet the aunt is just mad cause this was going to be her and her son's special weekend, but seriously...weddings don't happen every day!

thats sick! I dont even know what to say..she is out of her mind! I don't understand what the big deal is, have the graduation party the following week or the week before or the day after who cares..have it later in the day, why is she getting so bent out of shape..
