Hey girls!! As you may or may not remember a week ago, I posted a message about FH's aunt asking us to RESCHEDULE OUR WEDDING b/c her son is GRADUATING highschool the same day!!! Well, if that isn't bad enough.... here's the update......
FH's aunt emailed FMIL and 'went off' on her saying that she's mad at FMIL and FH because they won't RESCHEDULE our wedding!!! Is she serious???? I'm at a lose for words!!! I am waiting for FMIL to forward the email to me, and I will update you all as to what exactly was said.... Unreal!

HERE IS HER EMAIL TO MY FMIL......

Michael because he is a teacher... and he has to coach in August and East Wind is not available any other time that is 'convenient' for them..... Frankies graduation is Sat. 9 a.m. I should then go run from the graduation around noon home to shower and get ready to run to the church in Smithtown around 2 p.m. go to the reception in the evening??? .... Frankie already told me he doesn't want to have his graduation party the weekend before....I'm disgusted REALLY!!! I made Dawn cry (sorry for that)...it's not directed at her.....it's directed at you and everyone else for not thinking...Michael included....we
now have to accommodate everyone else and you want me to share in their joy when you just messed up Frankie's moment???
i'm not happy, sorry to say....and i think it's selfish on your part and Michael's to think that everyone should accommodate you now......So....no one thinks they should call Frankie and say 'gee frankie....we
weren't thinking....we really sorry we didn't really think this through.....' Too Much......you just think we're supposed to go cheerfully through this like it's no big deal....it is a big deal Linda!!!'

you know what i find so ironic - i never even wanted to go to my own graduations - they are SOOO boring - let alone argue with the family and beg to have a wedding rescheduled just to go to someone elses.
i'm sure frankie couldn't care - its probably his mother. or maybe its just me.....

as angry as you are - i am glad you are not in the line of fire - imagine how much worse if this aunts anger was directed at you?

I would seriously call her and yell at her... She obviously is a devilish woman and say you would rather her not at your wedding and then she will have no problems on that day. She can just have the graduation party instead.

sorry you have to deal with that - i think everyone has a 'crazy' aunt in their family..

i dont see the HUGE problem though.. the poor boy can have a grad party the next night..this is a wedding!! i think it is a bigger deal than a high school graduation... good luck with that one - try and brush it off - i have one just as self-absorbed in her own life...

First of all your FH aunt is a nut case and needs to have her head examined LOL LOL

Second of all you have been planning this wedding for how long and I am sure family members a nd friends knew about the date when you booked it . How the heck are you supose to know it would fall on the same day as her sons graduation I am sorry but she is the one being selfhish cuz you have already booked a hall and other vendors she jsut wants to have a BBQ or some type of party and has nothing planned so she is the one being selfish.

however...I am still laughing inside because she is a crazy lady and this will most certainly carry me..and should carry you as well through the most stressful times in this planning. Thank you Michael's aunt for the comic relief!!
