he just decided he wanted to pop the question b4 we went away on our cruise, which was on 5/18/07 soooo he did it on 5/12 instead (same day he picked up the ring haha).... i was sooo shocked!

He did it bc thats when he finally got the ring. Afterwards we both realized the date was 9/8/07 and it was also his parents wedding anniversary which made our engagement bittersweet since his father is no longer with us

FH got the ring in August (it was custom done and it took so much less time than expected) and he wanted to wait til Christmas. He just couldn't do it so we got engaged October 6th!

He proposed on August 4th of this year because his parents were up from Maryland to visit, so he wanted both his parents and my parents to be there

our engagement date wasn't a 'special date' He wanted to do it on a date that wasn't anything special......he wanted to make that date special by proposing on it

He took me to London to see the Giants play - he was going to make a big deal the day of the game but he couldn't wait - when we got there and started touring he found a park overlooking the city - got down on one knee with the video camera rolling - I said yes.
October 27th was one weekend til our 2 year anni

He proposed on Valentines day and i think he did it on that day because he use to always say that valentines day was a stupid holiday so I think he did it to throw me off.

His birthday 11th day of the month My birthday 24th day of the month
Proposal 11/24
Which also happens to be my grandmothers birthday and she has been waiting for this to happen

September 14, 2007: He proposed while we were on a mini vacation in Newport, RI. He chose then b/c we had a great time when we went last year, with so many memories, so he figured he'd keep that tradition. He also wanted to keep it separate from any other holiday.

The date itself had no significance. We were on a cruise and he had wanted to propose on a skyride in St. Thomas but I chickened out because I'm scared of heights so he waited until the next day to do it at sunset on the boat but I was in the shower lolz..so he ended up proposing that nite ..I guess I made if very difficult for him

He had the ring for a while and was planning on proposing the week after he actually did. He proposed early b/c he couldn't wait any longer. I'm glad he didn't wait b/c I like the date 07/07/07...it was our lucky day
