he did it on July 3, 2007 the day before the 4th of July - my mom, sister and grandma were coming up from Florida on the 4th so he did it the afternoon before they arrived. he figured it would be nice to do it right before my Mom came up.

He had the ring for a while and was planning on proposing the week after he actually did. He proposed early b/c he couldn't wait any longer. I'm glad he didn't wait b/c I like the date 07/07/07...it was our lucky day
i remember hearing a lot of people getting engaged and married that day because 'it's the luckiest day ever...' that's cute tho... i wish Fh proposed on that day too instead of my bday.. oh well...

My birthday was Sunday, September 23 but since he knew I was expecting it for my birthday he did it two days before on September 21.

FH proposed on 12/27...he was supposed to do it xmas eve, then xmas...but due to some family issues, he waited until his parents went on vacation...i knew he was going to do it before the new year, he had my ring since august, it was already sized to fit my finger! but it was still perfect!

His birthday 11th day of the month My birthday 24th day of the month
Proposal 11/24
Which also happens to be my grandmothers birthday and she has been waiting for this to happen

Our engagement date (9/7/07) is the day before our 3 year anniversary. He picked the day before cause he thought I was expecting it, so he was trying to throw me off. He actually had the ring since May and held it all the way til Septemeber. He wanted to wait until after my brother's wedding so that we'd all have our own special days.

fh wanted to wait until we were away on some island, just the two of us (since we both live at home with our rents). he did it our second night! after a nice lobster dinner we went and took a walk on the beach (no one else was around) the sun was already low and he asked! we were in st. kitts! i'll never forget it. he did it in april and bought the ring in november. he went through out anni, thanksgiving, christmas, new years, valentines....he wanted it to be a random day, so it would be extra special to us and would take away from anyother special day.

10/20/07 The date itself wasn't anything significant, but the timing and setup was. My dad had a conference in Orlando, so we went up there to see my parents for a long weekend. FH wanted to propose with dolphins (my favorite animal) and there was a perfect place to do it in Orlando and a perfect excuse to go there (pics in my album )

He had the ring for a while...and I knew it. Everyone was just waiting. He asked if we could go the beach we always go to, so he could take pictures. He asked there while we were sitting in the sand. No special date, it was one month before my birthday and the night before I went back to work after summer break.

FH proposed on Veterans Day because all of our family was off, not only did he propose, he also planned a surprise celebration party with our immediate family and close friends! After waiting almost 8 years he knew I would want to celebrate!
