Was your lipstick/lipliner/lipgloss color way different from what you normally wear? My makeup artist suggested wearing a rich pink. I'm just not used to it!
What did you wear? Were you happy with it???

My lipstick is the only thing i didn't love about my trial I think its too purpley. I plan on discussing it with my MU artist before the wedding and hopefully we can come up with something I like better but just in case I am bringing a lipstick that I usually wear in case I'm still not happy.
Maybe that would work for you too? Tell her that you are willing to try out the color she suggests but that you have your doubts as its not a color you usually wear and ask her to make sure she has other options for you. And just in case make sure you have a back up of your own!

I wore sheer lipgloss and that's what I usually wear.

My MU artist put me in a sheer lipgloss - not my usual shade but it looked nice and wasn't sticky to reapply.

i wore something similar to what i normally do, when i wear lipstick...it was a bit darker, but showed up better for pics.

I usually wear a very sheer gloss, but for the day of I will probably wear something w/ a bit more color for picture purposes. As far as the pink, if your really not comfortable w/ it- have your MU artist try a couple of colors. I changed mine 3 times the day of my trial.

My makeup artist sold me a lipstick so I can reapply all day but after I got home I sort fell out of love with it. It's just a darker shade of pink and Im not use to it. I guess we should wear something a little deeper than normal if you usually wear light colors for the sake of pictures. I think I might just go to cvs, buy a crap load of lipsticks and take back whatever doesnt work. Ummmm Can you return them if you've opened them??
