your medical questions needed... i need inspiration for my thesis

I have to come up with a medical research topic for my thesis and i need some help. getting started is always the hardest part. ....

Do you have any medical/health questions that you wonder about or topics that are interesting?

theres so little research on celiac disease-i did some grad research on it and it was very interesting

ENDOMETRIOSIS!

Did you know theoretically, you can have it on ANY part of your body?

It's incredibly painful and can be detrimental to a woman's fertility, I think it deserves more attention

how come there are so many young women (age 12-30 something) I know that suffer from stomach problems??

I was going to say something similar...You could even go from depression/anxiety into ocd then even further to adhd...

Thyroid Disease - Autoimmune Diseases in general

I have Graves and it is impossible to deal with. I went on meds for a few years, it went into remission - came back - then did radiation - that didn't work. They can only treat graves-hyperthyroidism by destroying the gland all together which will then make me HYPOthyroid and need meds for the rest of my life and even then, I will never be NORMAL. Always fighting with weight, hormone problems, depression, anxiety. I know so many people with this is scary. As soon as I open my mouth and say I have this I feel like 1/2 the people in the room say they have it too. WHY?

My sister did the relation between how breast cancer can stem from colon cancer but colon cancer can't stem from breast cancer. She found it pretty interesting and is now an OB/GYN from all the research that she did for it.

((Mom's a breats cancer survivor and my Bubby - mom's mother, Jewish grandma - died of Colon Cancer))
