hey girls, after a conversation last night, I got to thinking. Do any of you have reservations about what your last name is going to be after you're married? Like, does anyone think, 'wow, that just doesn't flow well' or 'it doesn't sound right'? I feel like that all the time and there was never a moment where I thought I wasn't going to take FH's name, but when I think about what my full name will be it just seems too weird!

I hate it!!! i love love love my italian last name and he ha a stupid german last name that doesnt even sound like its spelled... I make fun of him for it all the time!!!

hahahha!! it's so weird because it seems like that little name changes soooo much of who you are! i LOVEEEE my last name. it's so simple but it flows so well. not like my new name isn't *simple* LOLLLL but it just doesn't have the same ring to it!

I love the aspect of having the same last name as my FH and can't wait to take it,
BUT I really love my last name. Im one of those two first name people. My new last name is hard to prounouce!

I don't really like my current last name at all, its kind of weird sounding. I like FH's last name...Garcia. FH is half Puerto Rican, but I am not, so my friends think its so funny that an Irish girl is going to be a Garcia. They think I should change my first name to Carolina.

I am nervous about mine. I dont know if it flows.... and a friend brought it to my attention that my middle and last would be MF like M*ther... f....
so since then im like...hmmm
but I want to get rid of my last name anyway. Its cursed and i really do not want any conection to my dads side

If I take his, my new last name will be sooo generic. Its not a bad last name, just so common. I like my last name because its less common and goes better with my first name. But who knows what I'll end up doing.

He says he'll do one of those online degree programs or get ordained or something so that he can have a special title too.
