ok i had my engagement part back in july and just got pics from a bunch of girls from work and my fmil and boy was i not happy!!! the girls from work were acting like a$$holes!! excuse my french but i got yelled at from my fmil and my own mother that day for there behavior and i was so lost cause i had 130 people to talk to and wasnt with them all night. now ive been to a wedding with them in july before my engagement party and saw how they acted there and it was to late to disinvite them( i know that sounds wrong but you have no idea what they were doing!!) they were humping the floor a girl was faking giving her BF a blowjob( sorry ladies if im a little graphic) faking an orgasim. screamin and acting like 10 yr olds and these girls are 24 25 30 all over in ages and actin like this at a wedding so the bride came over and asked them to stop and they didnt. she didnt know what to do. i would of kicked them out! so at my engagement party my mom said she spoke to them and they calm down, but what i didnt know is that they went in front to act dumb and take dumb pics in front of my FH house with all the kids playing basketball out there. they dont act like this at work and never thought they would be this out of control at a engagment party or a wedding. ive been out with then tons of times and never did they get this out of hand. i dont want them at my wedding and they were at my engagment party and they know when the wedding is. how do i tell them they arent invited?? am i wrong im just scared on what they will do. i mean come on my mother had to tell them to calm down 25-30 yr olds?!WHAT SHOULD I DO!! AM I WRONG FOR FEELING THAT I DONT WANT THEM AT MY WEDDING!

Re: YOUR NOT GOING TO BELIEVE THIS!!!
that is really gross, I wouldn't want them at my wedding either. This is definetly a tough situation because you work with them...you def. don't want to cause bad blood because it will make working with them difficult. Perhaps you can speak with your catering hall to keep an eye on them...would it be too much to get a sort of 'bouncer' at the wedding??? What a pain in the a$$ this is!

I would show them those pictures, and tell them straight out, that those pics are the reason they are not invited anymore to the wedding!!! Its your day and you do not deserve that happening to you!!! be strong and just let them know the truth, i am sure they realize what they did

Re: YOUR NOT GOING TO BELIEVE THIS!!!
I wouldn't invite them. In fact - based on their behaviour, I would probably start to distance myself IMMEDIATELY.
Don't get me wrong.. I am not a prude - but there is a time and a place for fun and games of this nature. If they were behaving like this at an all adult bachelorette party - that might be considered humorous... but to do this at an engagement party? At a WEDDING? It seems obvious that they have very little couth, and even less class. Do you really want people like that as your friends?
I mean - there is a KID in the background of the pic where that chick is pretending to have oral sex with her man. If I seen her doing that with MY child around there would be a SERIOUS problem.
Based on the fact that this type of behaviour seems 'normal' for them and the fact that you had no idea this is how they are... I don't think they can be considered 'close' friends. You don't need to invite them - and if they happen to ask WHY they aren't invited - feel free to be honest. 'I really found your behaviour at my engagement party distasteful and I wanted to avoid a repeat at my wedding.'

Re: YOUR NOT GOING TO BELIEVE THIS!!!
I would hope that at their age, they'd already KNOW how they're supposed to act in certain settings; ie- if you're at a club, it's okay to act like a drunken fool, but if you're at a wedding or an engagement party you have to act like a normal adult. Clearly they have a serious lack of judgment, and I'd be worried that even a warning won't set them straight. I mean, PLEASE- giving a fake blow-job to your boyfriend at someone's engagement party with their family sitting right behind you????? That's just inexcusable. If you think about it, they didn't have much regard for your feelings when they acted the way they did. I wouldn't lose too much sleep over hurting theirs....

Re: YOUR NOT GOING TO BELIEVE THIS!!!
I wouldn't invite them to the wedding. An engagement gift is totally optional and should be a show of happiness from someone that you are getting married - not a token of obligation to be invited to a wedding. Think about it - if you invite them, are you going to spend the months up to the wedding losing sleep, getting nervous-stomachaches, freaking out about what they are going to do? Is their friendship worth that? Weddings are about happiness, love, and celebration, not office politics. They don't deserve to be at your wedding. Cut them loose.
(just as an aside, and on a positive note, I just scrolled through your Engagement Party pics, and I just wanted to mention that you had such a cute dress!)
Tara! What the hell?!? I can't believe it! I wouldn't invite them at all. When the time comes just say you decided to have just immediate family and friends. I totally agree with you.
My videographer at my first wedding was getting BJ under the table from his assistant. YEAH! I swear!
