Alright ladies, I posted this before but I'm still confused. I'm trying to figure out the color for my BM dresses. I am having tropical flowers (orange, yellow, and hot pink). What color dress would go best? Does it matter if I choose a darker color for the summer? Any advice would be helpful.

I would go with the Kiwi too. The cornsilk is pretty as well but i don't know if it will go with all the different skin tones. Cornsilk would look great with dark skin...is your BP dark? do they tan well...???
As for the dark colors.....you can def do them if you really love them. My personal preference is the lighter ones though. Satin is a heavy feeling fabric and with the dark color as well may be too much....(again JMO) Maybe the darker colors would work better with a dress that flowy? like chiffon??

I said Kiwi, but sometimes colors will look different in person than on the computer so I would definitely check out the colors in person if that's possible.

THAT'S GOOD ADVICE. I LOVE THE CORN SILK BUT I ALSO THOUGHT THAT IT IS NOT GOING TO LOOK GOOD ON MY GIRLS WHO HAVE A FAIR COMPLEXION. I THINK THE KIWI IS NICE BUT I'M NOT SURE IF IT WILL GO WITH THE FLOWERS. I THINK IT WOULD. I ALSO LOVE THE MIDNIGHT BUT I THINK THAT MIGHT NOT GO WITH THE FLOWERS AT ALL. AS YOU CAN SEE I'M CONFUSED.

Kiwi gets my vote. It's a very pretty color and I think that would look best with the color flowers you are using.
I don't think it matters what color (dark or light) you use for your bridesmaids. It is your wedding and your choice.
I would not go too light though. I think if you go with the cornsilk, it will not come out in the pics and be too close to your dress. That is what I was told when I was looking at latte as a color for my girls. Just my opinion though.

i voted for sailor. it's dark...but not as dark as midnight and will contrast well with the bright flowers you've chosen.

If you love the midnight.....go with it. I'm sure the tropical flowers you want will look great with the dresses. You can always get a swatch of that color and go to the florist. Put it up agains the flowers you are considering and see how it looks.
I'm a big fan of contrasting colors.......flowers are an accessory to the outfit. make them stand out.....

I voted for Sailor because I LOVE blue!! I actually like the Cornflower better though. I didn't like the midnight. I think it's too dark. I don't think the corn silk will look good on all skin tones. My second choice would be the Kiwi.
