I know that at the rehersal dinner parents do meet and greet, but has everyone's FH's parents and their own met already? Do they get along? I know mine met once it was very messy ( FMIL basically laid into them for kickin me out and basically acting as if I dont exist) and wont happen again so Im not worried.

We had the meeting of the parents years ago. Well, my parents and fmil and her husband. My parents have never met ffil (and I'm glad). Our parents get along great. We have had no issues at all not yet anyway

Yep, they met. FH's family is notoriously suspicious and apprehensive of new people. Their initial instinct is to dislike a person, and you have to actively work for them to overcome that.
Well, they came over last month to my mom's house. We had a major ethnic dinner we knew they would enjoy, and things went pretty well. Still a language barrier, though.... (I'm German, and my mom's bilingual. FH is Polish, but his parents don't speak English much at all...)
They invited mom to thanksgiving, so all seems well!

They met and like eachother. We did the whole meal thing! It was nerve racking but turned out fine!

My FH's parents and my parents have actually become friends..they talk on the phone and stuff and get together w/out me and fh. We're blessed in that sense.

My parents are both deceased. My dad never met my Future In Laws, but they did come to his funeral to pay their respects.
My MOM and my FMIL were very close. They had some things in common and got along really well. My FMIL was one of the people who cried the most at my mom's funeral.

My parents met them after we started dating and they are actually really good friends. They are the same age and grew up in the city so they had a lot in common.

ours met one time. I think it was very aakward - his mother was an hour and a half late! They don't contact her at all and she doesn't contact my parents, but they did invite her to Thanksgiving dinner by way of my FH!

Our parents met back when we were in college and have spent time with each other since for different family things.

Yeah everyone met and gets along. Both moms came with me dress shopping... FMIL wants to be just involved as my mom which is really nice. i was nervous b/c everyone was so different, but they all get along really nicely.

Everyone met at the engagement party. Some of my FH family memebers have met my parents and brother on a few occassions. We all get along really well

Yes, they already met. My FH's parents aren't really that lovey dovey people. I'm actually waiting to find out if they are coming to my house for Turkey day. I doubt it, but that's how they are.
I try not to sweat it though, they just better show up on our wedding day.
