i have NO INVOLVEMENT WHATSOEVER! lol and i wanna kepp it that way...yesh its starting to annoy me a little that i have no idea whats going on lol but i have never had a real surprise party before i wanna be completly surprised!!! I know my BP and kelly lol who has become a sudo bridesmaid lol will do an amazing job they are a bunch of very creative wonderful ladies!! I cant wait to see what they come up with!! lol

nope....the bridesmaids are supposed to take care of your bridal shower and bachelorette...you are supposed to just be surprised and enjoy your self :)

So far I've given my Mom a list of names and addresses, my registry cards, and I mentioned a place I like where she might want to hold it. But that's it I think.

same here except i mentioned the ONE place I DIDNT want to have it. the rest is up to them

I wrote out a guest list with addresses and gave it to my mom and sil(moh). That's about it!

I just gave my mom names and addresses of the women I work with. That's it! No one will let me get involved lol.

Traditionally some one throws it for you. And most of the edicate books say it shouldn't be a relative, it's usually the bridal party (which most of the time is family anyway).
I was asked to give a list of names and address of people I would want there IFsomeone was to have one for me.

see i am not doing anything for my shower but i am picking my bach party lol i am working on that with my MOH! I dont know anyone who was surprised by their bachelorette party they all knew what was going on

The only involvement I had was .... I gave my Mom a suggestion. I told her in the past bridal showers I have attended they passed around an address book. I told her I would like her to do that.
This way its a good start on your address book.

I gave them a list but thats the only involvement I had, only because we have divorced families on both sides and they would have never gotten everyone.

I'm not sure who is paying, but I know my Mom and MOH are planning together....I'm sure FMIL is involved also. I chose the date (I live OOT and am SUPER busy in prime shower time), and I know the location b/c my aunt spilled the beans accidentally hehe, and I gave my mom the registry cards....that's pretty much it! Other than that, it's up to them....

....I did tell my mom a while ago that I would much prefer a shower at someone's house and not making it ridiculous or huge, and that I definitely don't want ALL the women at the wedding invited....just not my style!

I am involved. I didn't want it to be a surprise. my Mom is paying for the place and the girl's are paying for favors, centerpieces, gifts and all the other stuff.

I know where it is also and I picked out my own invitations. I'm a bit controlling and have a hard time letting go though.

My mom is throwing it for me and I have no idea about any of the details. There was a few hours of drama last weekend over favors, but it was my fault! I poked my nose into her stuff and found favor information and said something to 'try to help her'. She second-guessed herself, other people voiced their opionions and I was left with adgeda! So, I'm out of the loop for now on!

I know the day, but only because I work some weekends and had to make sure I was off.

I gave the list of who I wanted invited and gave ideas of where I would like it to be....But I have no idea about anything else....FH knows...=)
I think my sister (MOH) is planning the whole thing with the help of my parents money....LOL
I can't wait!!! I'm thinking it may be soon because some things have been bought off our registry!!!
