Your Wedding Dress Color?

im doing ivory i think but i have not bought one yet so maybe it will change..but im not fooling anyone with a white dress

I was gonna get white.. but then I compared a white dress next to my dress sample (which was diamond whte) and the white look fake.... lol I ended up changing my mind to the diamond...

i have an ivory gown but i also loved it in that shade bc for my gown, it makes it look antique IMO... no one is going to notice that you're gown isnt stark white... its only when you have someone standing next to you in white when you may be able to see a difference in shades

i was thinking the same thing. But for the FG dresses I was thinking their dresses will have to be Ivory as well. What color FG dresses are u getting and color runner.

Thanks don't mean to be a pain, my dad just found out that it's not white and he's upset. My brother saw the pics in my album and says it looks white.

i must say, yours looks white in the pics... im actually not have any FG's so I wouldnt have that type of issue... but i feel i would get their dresses as close to the color of your gown as possible, but that may also be my ocd talking lol

It's your wedding.... he's that upset?? He should be upset if your dress was red or another color besides white, diamond white, or ivory lol.... If my father told me he was upset about my dress I would tell him that it's my dress and its the dress of my dreams.... you shouldnt settle for something just to make other people happy... even if its your family.... they will get over it- but you'll have to live with that decision forever...and I've heard so many brides say AFTer their wedding .. 'I shouldnt have listened to my parents and I should have done what I wanted to do'

I can see why dad would be upset though... if you have a sentimental one like mine, they get upset at the stuff you wouldnt think twice about has he seen the dress in person? if he sees how white it actually is, it'll prob make him feel a bit better

I choose an Ivory color.. Its soo CLASSY.. We are having a traditional wedding with a modern touch here and there.. The colors are beautiful and I think white will just not match with all the color coordination!!

I am actually going tomorrow to the bridal salon to drop off some $ so to drop the balance before the dress comes in which is in January. He said he wants to go w/me. The thing is I am very attached to my parents so if they don't agree w/something I get bothered. And my dad is so involved in our wedding, thats it's so cute and he has made it possible to pay off the wedding. My mom on the other hand loves the dress and told my dad it looks white. FH said i should never of opened my mouth Thanks ladies
