Zales engagement rings (VENT!!)

Has anyone who got their engagement ring from zales had any problems with it?? I've only been wearing my engagement ring for 2 months and a stone falls out! I don't even wash my hands with it on, i'm soo gentle with it.. But anyway, me and FH go back to zales and they tell me they'll repair the ring and it'll be ready in TWO MONTHS! So I'm supposed to go two months without a frickin engagement ring (that i've been only wearing for two months!) because they don't know how to make their rings properly! And they won't even give me a replacement ring to wear in the meantime! Has anyone else had any problems like this?

Chabellaz-- we have the same e-ring lol

does yours have little round diamonds on the side of the main center stone...??

and yes i would def want a refund if you are going to bring it somewhere else- cause it will cost you $ somewhere else and Zales should pay for it...

i have heard people having problems with Zales

that sux!! 2 months is COMPLETELY unaccepatble! i would NOT leave my ring with them if i were you. a lot of thing can happen in two months, and i wouldn't trust them

i would just take it to a reputable jeweler instead.

I was thinking the exact same thing! And I was just doing some research online, and a lot of people had problems with zales losing their rings while they were getting repaired (like you chabellaz)...someone even got a yellowish stone that was pbviously a different color from the rest and the manager actually had the nerve to tell her that people wouldn't notice the difference from far away! I really think i'm going to take your advice and get it repaired at another jewelry store...how much do you think it would cost? It was a little accent princess cut stone..it wasn't the main stone thank goodness!

Is yours the past present future one? I think it's the same as mine.

um i dont know if it is considered past present future...it looks like chabellaz new e-ring the one with the 3 stones and then the side stones in the band part??

i thought past present future was when the diamonds were all the same height, my center one is raised more than the 2 side ones

Well I went with him and they were gonna give him a hard time and he was getting all flustered and stuff, so I told them that it WASNT my ring, it was of LESSER value, and to give us our money back because we didn't want their ugly ring! lol

being sarcastic sorry she annoys me and lets it be known that my ring is not as big as her e-ring was

my ring is custom made... the FH showed me all the paperwork and all..

It's made to look like a 3 stone, but it's weird.. lol

yeah i have stones like underneath the center stone but in the band kinda .. you cant see it in the pictures nor really on my finger... the FH is upset and wants to bring it to be fixed.. lol he's a perfectionist with this now! lol i dont want to give my ring back im afraid to lose it!

Just beware once you have your ring fixed or touched at another jeweler it void any warranty you have with Zales, because they feel that it could be the fault of the other jeweler if something goes wrong.

FH bought me a bracelet from there for Christmas, and the clasp broke in less than 3 weeks!!!!! I was livid, and when I went in they wouldn't exchange it!!! I asked them if they would at least fix it and they said I should have bought the protection plan!!!!!!!!!!! On jewelery!!!!I never heard of that before...I don't even buy protection plans for my computer or my TV!!!! Why would I buy it on expensive jewelery?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I was flippin out! I can't believe it! they want me to pay $40 for it. FH always bought my jewelery at the flea market, and we never had a problem...the first'expensive' thing he buys me breaks!!!!! I know how you feel. I will NEVER shop there again!

really? that's a good point...but how would they find out? Can't I just lie, lol? Is there anyway they would be able to find out I went to another jeweler unless I admit it to them..

My e-ring isn't from Zales, but I've heard from other people that Zales gave them such problems with their jewelry. And two months to fix a stone in your e-ring!? That's insane!!
