Zumba tonight

Told me I am white and I have that disease us white girls have(applies to some ; not all LOL)...... No rhythm

I love zumba! I use to go all the time in NY but now that I live in Maryland I cant find a good class/instructor. I miss my NY zumba so much!

If you are looking for a good class check out powerhouse gym in lindenhurst ... Diana is awesome!

I love zumba... I may not be the worlds best dancer by any means, but I definitely have fun with it!

Awww! I tried zumba for a bit, but I was the teacher I had wasn't that great. I prefer actual dance classes.

I have the DVDs, so I can 'dance' (think Elaine Benes from Seinfeld) in the privacy of my own living room. Plus, the DVDs come with these cool weights that double as maracas! I highly recommended the set!

Do you live near a Gold's gym? They offer Zumba and another class called body jam, which is so much fun! I don't know how it compares to NY Zumba but I like it and I live in MD now

I belong to fitness first and i have been to their zumba and Latin cardio classes but they are just not as good as my old class.

I have no rhythm, none. I would like to try zumba, I have heard it is fun but I think I would be distracting to those around me. lol

It's from the official Zumba fitness website... the ones I have are Cardio Party, Sculpt and Tone, Zumba Fitness Live, and 20 Minute Express. There's a flat abs video in there too but I never did it... even if my abs got muscular theres still too much fat covering them for anyone to see... lol. I think for all of them plus the weights it was like 60-70 bucks.

i love zumba!!!!! but the teacher at my gym was doing the same exact routine as the zumba DVDs i had at home so i was like why pay $$ when I can do this at home with my DVDs. It's fun and it definently makes you sweat.

It WOULD work if I could get myself to do it again lol

I was doing it 4-5 times a week for about two months. I was NOT watching what I ate, at all. I didn't lose any weight, but everyone told me I looked thinner, so I am guessing my muscles were developing (I do not work out regularly... or ever). Now I have gotten back on the diet track and fallen off the zumba track lol, but I think if you stick with it and vary the videos it will work. I definitely noticed my waistline was more defined. At the end of the day, I kept it up because I was having fun.... just got busy and got off track!

I LOVED that class! Except, I went once and never went again because everybody and their mother (literally girls with their mothers and friends in groups) were there. My mom came and there was space to move (FINALLY) and some girl just moved over and kept hitting me! (Insert B word)
