black bridesmaid dresses

What do you think about black for the bridesmaids dresses? Does anyone have any actual pictures of a bridal party wearing black dresses? TIA

i LOVED the black BM dress i wore for a friend's wedding....sorry it was back in 1997 so no pics on file...haha...pre-digital camera...but they looked great and i wore that dress about 3-4 more times to other weddings & events!

My sister told us all to buy any (sort of simple) black dress for her BM dresses. She had an extreme array of sizes of the women in her bridal party and we were all in different locations. We got so many compliments on the unique style, having everyone in their own look.

And the black looked awesome on everyone.

For a Nov, Dec, Jan wedding I think they are perfect! They are so classy and perfect for a wintery wedding

Thanks everyone! I'm in a bridal party in August, and the bride let us pick the color. But of course the dress we like the sample happened to be black and we loved it. Now I just need to convince the bride black is okay.

I wore a black bridesmaid dress for my friends wedding. I really liked the black on all the girls. We did white flowers and elbow length black satin gloves. It looked nice IMO.
