Bouquets for Navy Blue Bridesmaid Dresses

Bouquets for Navy Blue Bridesmaid Dresses

Hi Ladies,

My bridesmaids are going to be wearing navy blue dresses w/ cornflower blue sashes and I can't seem to find coordinating bouquets and centerpieces!

I LOVE sunflowers, as well as gerber daisies and circus roses (the burnt orangy color). At first I thought I could do burnt orange and hot pink roses for the bouquets, but someone said that it might be too much color with the navy blue and cornflower dresses...Can anyone help?

Also, do the bouquets need to coordinate with the centerpieces???

They do not need to coordinate, per say. However, I would have the same color families in both the BOK and the CP.


I think you could do orange and yellows... and it would look really nice. I've seen orange with navy - amazing.

I personally wouldn't do 'blue' flowers. There's not many natural blue flowers - I'd stay away from having anything dyed.

Yes I agree. Orange tones and navy go well together. i wouldn't also do the 3rd pink color..may be too much going on

I can't seem to find it, but I recently saw photo of BMs holding hot pink and white roses (they were in navy dresses) and it looked amazing.

Im using Navy for my BM dresses and im using hot pink and orange gerbera daisies bc they are my favorite flower bok for them....the pic is in my photo album that im using for them

I agree orange is a good contrast to the navy. My girls have navy dresses and they are holding hot pink/fuschia roses.

Just a warning i am also doing navy bm dresses, and i had my heart set on dark orange gerbera daisies until i finally went to one florist who was the only one to tell me how fragile the petals are on the flowers, and even if they wire the stem, unless you keep them in water for the majority of the night, the petals will wilt.

we changed our bq to circus roses, with the navy dresses.

I like bouquets to be simple. Maybe just bright white or bright white with some light blue or dark blue accents

Those are actually my colors as well, blue dresses, bright pink and burnt orange gerber daisies for the BMs bouquets with (hopefully) a matching blue ribbon to tie it all in. My bouquet I want to do the pink gerber daisies as well along with burnt orange lily's.

I dont' have a pic of it, but my friend did round bouquet's all of roses....the outside row was dark pink roses, the middle row was light pink roses and the middle cluster was red roses....it looked awesome with the navy blue dresses we wore.
