bridal shower
where is everyone having or had their bridal showers ? ( if its not a surprise of course)im looking for places that can hold up to 80 people
just checked out the Inn at New Hyde Park
......
next, on the dais, what is everyone putting on the tables for the bridesmaids? I hate the traditional statues ( no offense) i got so many from past weddings. I want something different. Open to suggestions
thanks!

Re: bridal shower
We are looking at the Milleridge Inn tomorrow. Their price is very reasonable, the food is good and the woman I spoke with said they have 11 rooms so I'm sure they can accommodate 80 people

Re: bridal shower
hey joanne, mine was at Westbury manor, The room was pretty big (held 130 people) maybe they have a smaller room. My sis in law had hers at the inn. It was great! I loved it.I also dislike statues so my mom did fancy photo albums.

Re: bridal shower
Mine is a tea party at the Hidden Oak Cafe. I am not a fan of showers and watching the bride open a million gifts so we are going to have a display table. All the guests are asked to wrap their gifts in celefane paper so I don't have to bore anyone with opening the gifts and I could spend more time chatting with the guests.
