Carvel Ice Cream Wedding Cake....

This is what we want for our wedding cake....has anybody ever heard of this or know where we can get one??? It MUST have extra crunchies, too!!!!

FH and i were thinking about this too!!! its our favorite cake! (actually, He wanted to make the cake a strawberry shortcake ice cream cake )... but i think we might hae a hard time trying to get that one to work

Does Carvel make wedding cakes?
Some Carvel stores make wedding cakes. Inquiries on sizes, styles and prices should be directed to your local Carvel store. Wedding cakes are not available through supermarkets that carry our products.


Guess I'll have to call around locally to find out the answer.

From what I know, Carvel's is a franchise so I wonder if the numbers you have are to a central location? Anyway, I would imagine the biggest issue would be getting one of their cakes to serve enough people at the wedding. That said, I am sure, if you are willing to $$, they will be only too happy to oblige.

My FH really wants one also! I think the ice cream factor gets me a little nervous though...

The cake is one of the only things he has expressed a passionate interest in - I gave him the whole project - I love that he gets excited over sweets. He is also making the topper - he is an antique toy nut, so I can't wait to see what he comes up with!

If you can do it - go for it. Who doesn't love those crunchies?

Now I cannot remember but what was the name of the little chubby Carvels character that kind of looks like our smileys -- anyone remember?

I'm thinking that since a cake comes with the reception package, we'll have the traditional wedding cake, and offer the ice cream cake on the side........But, in a wedding cake form..I dunno, the dessert selection at Land's End is SO insane already.....but it's also one of the few things both FH and I were REALLY excited about.....that and the Sushi Station

This web site pictures a Ben and Jerry's wedding cake, but I couldn't find anything on the Ben and Jerry's website....I'm confused...

Mmmm....yummy!!!! We can have a Cherry GArcia wedding cake.....not quite as good as Carvel.....but at least I know it can look like a real cake!!!
