chateau briand, crest hollow country club or jericho terrace?

My FH and i are planning on booking a venue within the next 2 weeks, but we are having a hard time deciding which place we should go with. We have gone to chateau briand, crest hollow country club and jericho terrace and liked them all. My FH and i had a good feeling about each of those places when we visited. Anyone have any helpful tips or thoughts that may help us?

Ive been to all three, food is good in all. I do remember JT has a huge cocktail hour selection!
Only thing I could suggest top help make your decision is answer these few questions.
Which place gives u the most bang for your buck?
Which place has the best area for photos? (This would be huge for me)
Which is better for your budget?

Hope that was helpful.

chateau briand, crest hollow country club or jericho terrace? - Long Island Weddings

I've never been to crest hollow but we did visit chateau Briand and JT. Chateau Briand was just not our taste, but we ended up booking at Fox Hollow.. Can't go wrong with scotto brothers for food and service!

Jericho Terrace was in our final two.. When we went back with our parents we decided on Fox Hollow because it had more outdoor space for photos and was a little less modern which is what we were looking for. BEWARE (to all JT brides!!!!!) on our last visit, they were set up for a large party in the skylight room and my mom suddenly noticed holes in one of the table cloths... Nbd, sh!t happens... But then we looked around and there were holes in almost all the chair covers! If I walked in there on my wedding day and saw that, I'd cry. Make sure you bring this to their attention that it's not acceptable if you decide to go with them. We also had a tasting at JT and it was delish :)

Good luck HTH!

Re: chateau briand, crest hollow country club or jericho terrace?

I love crest hollow! the place is gorgeous- Of the 3 I would pick chateau briand or crest hollow personally.. I feel like JT is a little hectic because of the many events that go on there at once.. I went to lots of sweet 16s there too, and we always saw brides walking around and they seemed annoyed that a bunch of 16 year olds were getting drunk in the bathrooms and were being loud and obnoxious on their wedding days hahaha- So everytime I think of weddings there, I just picture a ton of random annoying high school kids sneaking vodka in water bottles and chugging them in the bathroom so the chaperones wouldn't see lmao

chateau briand, crest hollow country club or jericho terrace? - Long Island Weddings

I've been to multiple weddings at all three and prefer crest hollow..the vote was great and from my venue search was the cheapest. We would have booked there had we been able to get the ceremony space and room we wanted.

Re: chateau briand, crest hollow country club or jericho terrace?

I may be biased but I am Team Chateau Briand I just liked the vibe when I got in there. Maybe the palm trees swayed me. I have a love affair with California, lol. It seemed perfect too, because we have a lot of guests coming from the boroughs and the distance is pretty good.

Re: chateau briand, crest hollow country club or jericho terrace?

I'd say Chateau Briand! We were sold once we saw the outdoor area. I liked the all white modern decor...very chic. We're having our ceremony there and our cocktail hour is in the room that leads out to it, so the guests can use the outdoor space/lounge area. Its perfect since thats when we'll plan to bring the cigar roller out. :)

Crest Hollow though was a strong contender! However, we chose Chateau Briand because Crest Hollow didn't seem as private. You could see the other events going on, but if thats not an issue, I say either one would be great for you :)

chateau briand, crest hollow country club or jericho terrace?

It came down to Crest Hollow and Chateau Briand for me. I LOVED Crest Hollow's outdoor space (pool, lighting, garden areas), but indoors not so much. I was pleased with Chateau Briand in and out overall. Chateau Briand also offered a slightly better price than Crest Hollow's price with the additional fee for using the outdoor space for cocktail hour(I hated that they charged so much extra for that), so I went with Chateau Briand. I kept thinking 'Rain or shine, which place will I be happiest with?' and Chateau did it for me.

chateau briand, crest hollow country club or jericho terrace?

Hi Everyone, my FH and I are also torn between Crest Hollow and Chateau Briand. My concern with Crest Hollow is that all the rooms are upstairs and there is only one bathroom downstairs. I don't want guests to have to wait on a line each time. Also, is the lobby busy with all the parties? I am also concerned about other parties being outside during the cocktail hour. I feel like Chateau is more private. Can anyone share their experiences? Thank you!!!

chateau briand, crest hollow country club or jericho terrace?

Keep in mind weather! I visited Crest Hollow when it was raining and it was miserable. Not trying to be a downer, but any traffic the might have dispersed outside was all in the common areas inside.
