Do express clothes run BIG??

I just bought a cute skirt at Express( actually itwas in a sale bin only $10.00) but teh size is one size smaller than my normal. Now i am trying to loose weight I joined ww and all but have only lost 3.5 lbs. Anybpdy else?

you know...I have had things in smaller sizes that were big and clothes in bigger sizes that were snug...

I almost want to say its a crapshoot....

To me Express runs smaller than the norm. All the clothes at Express are tight fitting and short. The shirts over my chest are a JOKE....

i always thought their stuff was big too, especially the pants. but i haven't been there in a couple of years b/c nothing fit me.

I agree with the small..I usually get a size bigger there.

IMO Express sizes are inconsistant. Sometimes I can buy two different types of jeans there and they are two different sizes. I think thier shirts tend to run smaller than thier pants do, but then again, there are some shirts I have bought that run big.

I don't shop there too much, but the things that I've tried on, mostly skirts, ran big.

I think they can be inconsistent but in my experience they are pretty true to my normal size. The same size I buy in Macys, Ann Taylor, BR, Gap, whereever for the most part get there.

I have expereinced where I picked up two pairs of jeans (same style, color and size) and they fit me very differently. Also, this summer, I bought a pair of those capris with the buckles and pockets and stuff - didn't bother trying them on - all my pants form them are the same size (for at least the past three years) and I got them home and couldn't get them over my hips and i have been same weight/size for awhile now - no clue what happened there. But other than that I typicall wear the same size in all their clothes.

I thought they were true to size until my most recent purchase... The pants that I purchased ran a little big... But could have been the cut issue too.
