Engagement Party Venue; Suffolk County

My FH and I are thinking about an engagement party, but we are not sure if we are going to have one. We would be paying for it ourselves. Does anyone know any good restaurants in Suffolk that have a private room where you can have a buffet or something? I called the Irish Coffee Pub and they were too much $$$. Thanks.

If your not a vegatrian, I suggest Green Field in melville, North of exit 49 on the LIE. The food is great! I had a pre wedding ceremony and we had a lunch or early dinner there food was $10 a person, plus a cake cutting fee. Mind you this was during the week mid day.
They serve all kinds of meats, and a buffet. Its a really nice place. Contact them for more details. I gave them four stars!

I think FIL's are looking into the island bar andgrill on portion for our eparty... not sure of pricing though.

We went to an e party at milk and sugar in bayshore a couple weeks ago.

I had mine at the Riverview in Oakdale. It was awesome. All the places we priced were about the same, but they offered the most.

Try THE FLAMING HEARTH it's in Farmingville they have a really nice private room full buffet with soft drinks and dessert $18.95 pp

I had mine at mazzei's in bayport. Food was awesome. Definately call them.
