Flip Flop Basket

Someone had posted great pictures on here of their flip flop basket. There were like 3 different sayings. I wanted to do this as well. Does anyone know who that was?

I got the chinese slippers from Chinatown for $1.50 each. I noticed that not all size 7's fit me the same (and I am shoe size 7) so I went down to chinatown and handpicked 75 pairs in dark red and black ranging in size from 6-10. I labeled the 6-7 a small, 8-9 was medium, and 10 was large.

stupid question, how many slippers/flip flops did you purchase? We have about 250 guests, so I am thinking 100 or so pairs? how many in each size?

I don't have a photo of the basket yet but here's a pic of the sign. I got the saying from something an LIW bride posted, but I can't remember who, so I can't give them credit!

We had 300 guests so I bought 75 pairs. I assumed half the guests were women (100) and then some of those were too young or too old to use them, so I came down to 75.

I just got a random number of each size - just guess and you'll be fine. If you run out of a certain size, then so be it.

I did this at my wedding and just said 'Put on your dancing shoes' ... I can post a picture when I get ours back.

Also, if by some chance you need Navy flip flops, I have a TON leftover. Bought them at Old Navy, got too many pairs (don't even remember how many) and they are just sitting in my parents' basement having never been used. If you (or anyone) wants them we can totally work that out!

I love love love this idea. Do people actually use/take them though? I don't want to waste $100 on flip flops if no one will use them. Let me know how everythings wedding turned out that gave out flip flops. Thanks!

I just bought random sizes!
Kohls has a good sale on them right now. Each pair ends up costing 1.40 each. I tried getting them at Old Navy but the lines and limited quantity frustrated me.
Silly I know: I am deciding between putting tags on each pari or one general sign. One is probably more eco-friendly.

whoops, i just saw this. Send me FM if you still want it and I will see if I still have the file on my home comp! (I printed them at work....shhhh so I am hoping I remembered to save it at home)
