Freaking out!!!! My Swarovski Princess Tiara broke!!!! UPDATE!!

I was trying it on last night, went to put it back in the bag and it broke in half!!!!! My sister gave it to me so I dont have a receipt. Should I take it to the swarovski store?

I cant ask my sister for the receipt, she's going to ask why. I dont have the heart to tell her. She wore it to her wedding and its my 'borrowed'. It has a lot of sentimental value to her and I dont want to tell her I broke it.

I don;t think it's your fault that it broke.. And, eventually you will have to fess up to her that it is broken. I think you are better off telling her now.. what are you going to do- hot glue to back together and return it to her? Everyone appreciates honesty.

I have a small Swarovski pacifier that is hanging from my rearview mirror. I got it when my first baby was born and it's been hanging there for years. Well, one day it broke and I was crushed! I called Swarovski and they were WONDERFUL about it. No questions asked, no receipt needed. They asked me to send it to them and they fixed it and sent it back. They said DO NOT try to fix it yourself (like with glue or something). Definitely take it to the store and see what they say.

Girl! Take it back! I just returned my mom's mother's day present to them and they didn't care. I emailed them through the Contact Us on their site.

They will fix it. They're good like that!

It doesnt help the situation that out of all times I could break this thing, I do it 2 DAYS before my sister is flying in from florida!!!!

So being the Diva that I am, I had the waterworks ready to fire. But the girl said I was in luck and gave me her very last one!!! I said, 'Thats it? Your just giving it to me?' She said, 'Well we cant have a bride without her tiara!' No excuses, no receipt, no nothing. I hugged her and told her I couldnt thank her enough!!! Woohoo!! I got a new tiara!! I conferred with my MOH and she said not to tell my sister because who knows if she had any sentimental value to it. There is a slight difference though. Where my tiara broke, I noticed in the new one the same piece is much thicker and reinforced. I guess I wasnt the only one this happened to!! Hooray!!!!
