Hotels Near North Ritz, Syosset?

Can anyone recommend any other hotels near North Ritz Club in Syosset, I know there's the Fox Hollow Inn (kinda pricey) and another one, which doesn't look as nice, anything else in Syosset, not really looking in Garden City.

Re: Hotels Near North Ritz, Syosset?

There is the Fairfeild by marriott in Syosset.I've never been there, but I've been to other Fairlfeld's. They are are good & clean & stuff, & probably new, but they arne't fancy. I wold have blocked rooms there for my guests, but they were booked.

That's the only thing I found right in Syossett.
There is a howard Johnson's in Jericho & the East Norwich Inn is just north of there.
There is also a holiday near Fox Hollow -you might have better luck over there in the Woodbury area.

Are you looking for guests, or for you?

Re: Hotels Near North Ritz, Syosset?

I'm getting married right down the road at the Fox Hollow. I blocked rooms at the Best Western Woodbury and the Executive Inn at Woodbury. They are both under the same management. The rooms look identical, but the exec. inn is newer. The rates they gave me were around $110-$120 I think.

Re: Hotels Near North Ritz, Syosset?

I'm getting married at the North Ritz too. I blocked rooms at the Fairfield Inn, The Inn at Fox Hollow, and the Best Western. To be honest the Best Western and the Fairfiled Inn were okay- but not great. I liked the Fairfield better than the Best Western (it seemed newer) both cost approx. $129 a night. The Fox Hollow is much nicer the rates were $189/night - we will probably stay there - they have a bridal suite for $209 that is really nice (rose petals on the bed, champagne, etc.) Fox Hollow has a free complete breakfast everyday, and free dinner w/ wine and beer Mon-Thurs.
Hope this helps!

Re: Hotels Near North Ritz, Syosset?

Thanks girls for the suggestions, I'll go on each hotels website to see what pictures they have of the rooms, I don't want anything to dumpy, but I don't want my guests to have to pay over $150 for a hotel..

I don't think that the Best Western or the Fairfield are dumpy. I think the Fairfield is newer than the Best Western, but both have nice rooms.

Re: Hotels Near North Ritz, Syosset?

Thanks girls, I went this weekend to look at all of them and honestly I preferred the Best Western over all three, I didn't like the location of the Fairfield - no pool and more expensive and the two rooms that I saw were not that great (tile in the bathroom had grime in the grout). I liked how the Executive Inn's rooms were-but the property as a whole felt really colder-more motelish. I really liked the Best Western the best because it was very quaint and lodgy feeling and the pool area was nice!! the rooms were clean and the furniture up to date.
