How do you write '12:45' on a formal invitation?... fine.. I'll answer my own question! lol

I always thought I would just write 'one o'clock in the afternoon', but now I think I want to have my guests arrive at the church a little earlier since my ceremony musicians will be playing starting at about 12:30 (but there's an 11:30 mass, so I'd rather not write for them to arrive at half past twelve in the afternoon when the florist will be setting up from 12:30 to 12:45). WHAT DO I DO?

I'm afraid that if I write 'a quarter to one in the afternoon' on the invitation that some will read it wrong and arrive at 1:15. Hmmmm....

UPDATE:

it would be 'twelve forty-five in the afternoon' (in case others wanted to know, too)

How about:

Sunday, the twelfth of November, Two Thousand and Six
at twelve forty-five in the afternoon

or

a quarter before one in the afternoon

Which one?
