There is a new TV show called 'cake boss'.

They are in Hoboken and do great work. Google the show and you can get their info.

FH is a huge Mets fan so I am going to get a cake shaped like a Mets hat.

I am getting it from Sweet Things in Oceanside. He does really great work, the cakes are delicious and he is very reasonably priced.

I meet with this baker at a bridal showcase and i loved them if i go with the grooms cake i will def use them, i sampled the cakes and they were amazinggggg. Macayla michaels Desserts Inc. www.macaylamichaels.com They are a husband and wife team that own it, we also meet the other executive pastry Chef. They have a big book of samples they have done andi was looking at the sports theme, but i cant remember a mets cake. They seemed as thought you tell them what you want and give them a price range and they will make it work. They also told me they can do a replica cake so he came save forever.

I got a Mets hat for a grooms cake for DH, it was a replica of the one he has been wearing since high school. I can't find a pic of it right now though, but it was awesome!

We are getting one. I can post a pic in 2 weeks lol! Our RH is doing it for us, but I had gotten a GREAT quote from Audrey's Bakery on a Mr. Met cake. Good luck!

I'm using my friend Mary's cake company, www.pixiecakes.net
I've known her since 1st grade and her website isn't the best but she's amazing and she's sweet and she can do anything. She's the co-owner/executive pastry chef at Villa Napoli if anyone's ever been there and she's so reasonable :)
