Round Soliataire w/Eternity band?

Anyone have a solitaire w/diamond? What band do you have? I want a diamond eternity band but when I started trying on bands, I kind of like the matching set look and that would mean changing my ering setting to diamonds all around it. Do you gals think it's worth it or an eternity band goes nicely with a solitaire ring? They money could be used toward a bigger eternity band.

I have a solitare and specifically got it so that I could wear it with an eternity band. My FH put all the money into the stone (2 1/4 ct) so that it really stands out which doesn't happen if you put diamonds in the band. The only problem I am having with the enternity band is that I want it to sit flush against my ering and because I got a 6-prong, it doesn't. I went to Elsa's and she can custom make the ring to fit nicely with the ering.

I think an eternity band looks best with a solitare. If you blend it in with another diamond band, it takes away the effect and there is too much going on. You want your stone to be the center of attraction.

You're probably right. My center stone is only 1.02 and that to pop. I will just combine with an eternity band.

i think they both look nice. one of my friends has a solitaire with a plain band and another friend has a solitaire with diamonds on the band and they both look beautiful. but theyre two totally different looks. i like the way a five stone ring looks with a plain solitaire, and i like the matching band to go with the ering setting. but either way you go im sure they will look beautiful..

go try on some 5 stone bands!

I have a solitaire with a pave band , and i didn't like the pave wedding band that matched , i went with a diamond eternity band , but thats just my taste. You don't have to change your band, a solitare and eternity looks really nice together

I have diamonds on my e-ring as well as my wedding band. Here's mine, although I will be changing my e-ring from a 6 prong to a 4 prong.

I like this one. I have a soltaire tiffany setting too. I adore it. I think it looks great with an eternity band. I would not switch to a diamonds on the band of your ering. The contrast looks sooo much better without diamonds on the band of the ering and matched with an eternity band or a 5 stone band. I think its stunning. My only concern with having the 6 prong - tiffanys setting is that the band won't sit well with it. I think blue nile has one with diamonds that has a slight curve so that it fits a tiffany setting perfectly. I am sure other stores do as well.

here are my rings. My wedding band spans the full top to sides of my finger and looks almost like an eternity band which is why I like it. I really can't see spending extra money to have stones on the bottom that you won't see, might be uncomfortable and could get damaged. which is why I chose what I did. I'm very happy with it and the look so you might want to consider this type style. I think it adds to look of e-ring and blends nicely. I thibk it would also go well with solitaire.

My e-ring is a solitaire with a diamond band. Though I love the bling if I were to it again I probably would go plain band and eternity wedding band because the diamond band next tot he solitaire actually makes it look significantly smaller than it is. Anyways, here is mine:

I think the solitaire with the eternity band is a very classic look-I love the diamond bands next to each other but it really depends on the look you are going for

i really love this look! its gorgeous! i don't think you would have to change your e-ring at all if you want an eternity band. for me personally, i would never want to change the setting or anything about my e-ring, cause i would feel its not the same ring that my DH gave me when he proposed. i think you could go with this look like HamptonsBride posted--and it would look very elegant
