Salmon or Tilapia?

I have to finalize my menu tomorrow and we have to choose between Salmon and Tilapia for our fish. I say more ppl would want Tilapia, FH says Salmon. What do you ladies think?

I LOVE all kinds of seafood....Tilapia I find to be like flounder...sole....Boring.with not much flavor...it takes on the flavor of how it was prepared..I voted Salmon. When you have a good salmon....the flavor by itself is wonderful.

Hmm. It just says Grilled Salmon and Tilapia Oreganata. Both served with Mushroom Risotto and Veggies. I'm not a fish eater so idk.

I'd pick salmon just because I'm more likely to cook tilapia at home and I like eating something I dont generally cook at home when I go to a wedding.

In my opinion more people prefer salmon because tilapia has a 'dirty' taste sometimes because it is a bottom feeder in the ocean. I personally love both.

We chose the salmon and it was one of the meals we ordered at the wedding and it was delicious and a pretty popular choice.

I'd go Salmon.

I like Tilapia but like others said, its a fish you buy at the supermarket and prepare at home...salmons a little more of a treat. We went with Salmon for our menu.

Salmon tends to be dried out at large events so Id go with the Tilapia.

I vote salmon. Tilapia can taste dirty like some others have said. i'd go with salmon

tilapia. fh also agreed with me. i asked him b/c he's more of a fish eater

They're both good, but I'd say salmon. A lot of times salmon can be made into a more elegant dish imo

I love both but I picked salmon. It's more of what I would think would be on a wedding menu for some reason It's also what I would choose between the two!

DEF tilapia. Salmon is the usual wedding fish..I think ppl on the whole are tired of it. Ive never had salmon that was absolutely delish at a wedding. tilapia is mild and not the usual. aside from halibut, its my fav!

I don't eat fish at all, but I would choose the salmon. Tilapia I'd be leery of because it's a bottom feeder. I don't know, fish skeeves me lol.
