Ok, she cooked him a special jewish dinner (sorry, I don't know the correct term), and while she was praying, Harry had the Met's game on, muted so Charlotte wouldn't know. They were talking, she was saying how lucky she was, and then she realized that he was looking over her shoulder at the game. She basically had a fit, and said 'I gave up Christ for you' and he threw it back at her saying something like, 'geez, this is going to be some life if you keep that up, take out the garbage, I gave up Christ for you etc....' Then she went into a tirade saying set the date, set the date, you said you could marry a jew, now set the date. He was like huh? You're acting crazy, then she said, 'do you know how lucky you are? Do you know what people think when they see us? Do you know what they think?' and he said 'yes, I know what they think, but I didn't know that you were one of them.' Then he got up to leave, and said 'and to think, I bought a ring' And that was the end of that...

I didn't see tonight's episode, I got home so late, and I walked in just as he was proposing

I didn't notice what the note said. I'll have to catch the rerun tomorrow.

I totally cracked up when Charlotte made that comment about her date showing up with carnations. Burger was like, 'the guy shows up with flowers and that's bad?' and she says, 'carnations are filler flowers!'
That's exactly how I feel about them

I'm so picky about flowers!
But I have to admit that I liked the ones that Burger gave Carrie. They were a pretty color. Too bad they wound up on the floor. What a jerk Berger turned out to be! I wonder how the season is going to end now. Will Carrie be alone? Or will she end up with Big?

and i loved the flower throwing scene too!!!

thats funny annie-- i told FH that i don't like carnations either, but bundled all together like that in that color was pretty! I'm particular about flowers too... i don't like roses, or any other 'usual' flowers that men give.

tracyg - I'm the same way! Actually though, I do love roses, but just not red. I don't mean to say that I dislike them; I think they're beautiful, but I just think they're a little too common. I love it when FH gets me something different than the standard!

I hated Burger, I'm so glad they broke up, I thought for awhile when Burger came back that they were going to drag the relationship on for a couple of more weeks. I'm so glad they didn't.
I was in tears at the end with Harry and Charlotte.

Are they ending the series this season?
(someone told me Samantha might have her own show... which is a bad idea!! She can't carry a show on her own, shes too annoying)
