Table Number (picture of our dog)

FH and I have a dog together (Bailey). We love her, and she won't be at the wedding. We are having a fairly traditional weddng, but everyone that knows us knows we love our dog.

We would like her to be present at the wedding, even symbolically.

Even if YOU may not be a dog person, what do you think of this idea for us?

I think this is a cute idea! I like all the pictures, but the black and white one is my favorite so that is the one I voted for! Cute dog!!!

we're doing this too- and we're doing black and white- I LOVE the idea- its the same with us that everyone who knows us knows we LOVE our dog- so its cute to bring her into the wedding this way....

Black and white.. SO CUTE I want to do this with pics of my dog but I only have 2 decent pictures of him because he wont sit the F still.. lol how many different pics are you using??

We are doing the same thing for our wedding (picture of our dog for table numbers). What program are you using to write the table numbers on the pictures?

Im going to dissent from the group.

You have to do what's right for you. Although I personally dont like the idea, you are going about it in a classy way. If you are doing it I would go with Black and White.

I think we are going to try to take 16 different pictures and use them all, a different one at each table. We are just going to keep taking pictures of her and see what works. Maybe some will be black and white, others color. Do I frame the pictures, or just stick in the little thing?

I am trying to figure out if I should put a border on or anything like that. Any ideas to make it even cuter?

Another poster explained how, on a different thread. Do you have power point? Cut and paste the picture into power point, and then insert a text box on top of the picture, and play with the font colors, etc.

I appreciate your response/opinion. My mom HATES that we want to do this, since everything else is pretty classy, formal. But our dog is like our baby, and FH is so sad she can't come to the wedding (I drew the line there!). People who know us know how we feel about her, so I think it will bring a little levity to such a formal event.

I don't understand why the phrase 'not classy' is being used. They are pictures of something that is very special and endearing to you and FH. Why would that be considered 'not classy' It's not like there are going to be actual dogs on each table LOL. I think its a wonderful idea and I think that everyone will love it being that they all know how much you love your dog and how much she/he is a part of your lives. After all that is what a wedding/marriage is about. :)

I voted for the Black & White!
I think if your puppy is very important to you, you should do it! It's your wedding! She is adorable by the way, Golden's are my favorite!
