winter centerpieces

anyone have any original ideas for winter centerpieces that do not look like christmas??

i need some ideas desperately!!!

yes, i have been thinking about blue and silver snowflakes, but i cant find any flowers that look wintery for a centerpiece

Here is a MOCK of my centerpiece....

the candle in the middle will be alittle taller and there will be votive candle around it......it might not look that great because I just threw it together but you can get the idea...

How about white flowers for the CP's. any kind.

So you get the styrofoam and make lots of medium sized snowflakes. Then you get one of those green things that are sort of styrofoamy too. Get one that is shaped like a cone. then paint the green white and spray it with silvery white sprinkled paint. Glue all the snowflakes onto the cone and spray those really good with the sprinkled paint. When it's all dried, take the flowers, real or silk, and randomly stick them in between the snowflakes. The lightly spray them for the effect. I don't have a pic bc I just made it up off the top of my head.

You can also use something like this...maybe with white branches and poinsettias or something around the bottom.

No just the rose petals, with silver snowflake confetti that I have...So its basically a candle centerpiece.

when I was at LA Blossom she had a silver tree type stand with hanging votives on the branches...i think that would look wintery without being christmas...just a thought...just did a Google image search & holy cow...actually found what i was talking about!!! Here it is...
