PIC list...

did any one give a list to the photographer of what kind of pic they wanted to have taken???
If so what was on the list??

yes, I gave my photog a list. Basically it had a list of people I wnaned to have pictures taken with my godmother, aunts uncles, and certain shots I wanted. Things I wouldn't remember that day....

No doubt there are many wedding moments you won't want to miss. The best way to ensure your photographer captures the right moments for all posterity is to provide a suggested shot list. Of course, the style and number of these images will all depend on the photographer you've chosen and how long you've hired that pro for, but a shot list of photos you'd love to have is a great way to cover your bases. Since you should count on at least five minutes per shot, it's unrealistic to expect all the photos below, but pick and choose those shots that mean most to you.


Getting Ready


Bride's clothes hanging on the wardrobe, on the bedpost, or over a chair

Bridesmaids doing bride's hair and makeup

Bride and bridesmaids getting dressed, applying makeup

Mom helping bride with one last detail, such as veil

Full-length shot of bride in gown checking herself out in mirror

I also printed some of the pictures from the 'Post pictures you'd like to recreate at your wedding' thread. I wanted my photographer to see exactly what I wanted.

I have a list ready from what time frame I want each picture taken - before cermony to during ceremony to after ceremony to pre-reception to reception. This way they know where I'm coming from, escp w/my HUGE family! My Mom is one of 7 and all my aunts, uncles, cousins & sig others and their children will be here. I want to make sure I get all the photos I want/need!
