Photobooth attendant question
For those of you getting a photobooth for your wedding, are you providing a meal for the attendant? (Say for a 4-5 hour reception) Also what are you planning to tip them? Thanks in advance!

Re: Photobooth attendant question
No, we will not be providing the photo booth attendant a meal. We are also not providing our DJ with a meal. They are both aware of this and can grab a bite to eat at the cocktail hour.As for a tip, I am thinking about $30-$40. Even though he will be there for 4 hours, at certain points of the wedding I want it closed (1st dance, cake cutting, father/daughter and groom/mom dance).

Photobooth attendant question
My photobooth is through my DJ and it comes with an attendant. I'm counting him as part of my vendor meals. I haven't thought about the tip yet. I know my attendant will be putting together the scrapbook so I'll probably tip somewhere around $150-200? I'm not sure. Luckily for me I have some time before I have to decide this.

Out of curiosity katielynn, how much do you plan on tipping your other vendors? If you tip the attend $150-$200 plus a meal, how much would you tip a photographer working double the amount of time.
Sorry, but I think you are a little high.

Photobooth attendant question
As far as I've seen... I know people tip between $3-$5 per guest for the venue staff (maitreD, bridal attendant) so I sort of assumed that was standard. If I tipped the attendant that much it would be upwards of $450. I do have some time to think about all of this luckily and I'll be able to go off what some friends have done since my wedding is the last of 7 weddings in the next 22 months.

Photobooth attendant question
Thank you ladies for your feedback.... But whoa, Katie, I'm thinking $150-$200 is A LOT for someone just standing there while the guests work a machine that's pretty self-explanatory & glue on the copies of pictures! Ahh! Please don't take offense, I was just thinking more in Sandr325's range!

I'm providing a meal for ours. I don't know how much I'm tipping. I'm having my DOC tell me how much to give everyone.

Photobooth attendant question
I have worked in a catering hall and seen many weddings/photobooths and they always get a meal, whether you pay for it or not....they are there most of the time...I wouldn't want the extra charge the night of...best to figure it out now

Photobooth attendant question
I gave every vendor a meal, and just a tip, ask all your vendors how many people they are bringing, I had two different vendors each bring an extra person so we would have had to pay for their meals day of except we had a family emergency and had a few 'no-shows' because of it so it worked out. We spent well over $1000 on tips (almost enough to pay an additional vendor) and also, bring extra cash, since there were two extras helping the vendors we had to tip them as well and they def earned it plus you may want to tip more depending on performance etc.

This is what I'll likely be doing for my photo booth attendant. He/she will be there the whole reception so I feel its only right to feed them.
