We did not get offered the 10 day stay at their hotel in Greece b/c the BM told us you have to guarentee a certain number of people and also someone I know that booked like two years in advance received this offer.. I think these people have to guarentee over 200 or something not sure. It's all good though, I'm so excited! YAY to all of us Sand Castle Brides!!

I am and I can't wait it's 101 days today!!!!! May 5, 2006.

I got the 10 days HM. I heard something that the hotel is only open during tourist times like May to Nov or something like that.

Let's keep this alive I'd love to have a Sandcastle thread for all us brides

I don't think it has anything to do with the number because my friend only guaranteed 125. But someone said maybe it has to do with the time of year because the resort is only open certain times. Perhaps.

Just wanted to give an update to Sandcastle brides about the cake. I spoke with a coworker who was married there 2 years ago. She said her cake was delicious! She did something basic choclate with pudding and butter cream. She said that her parents got calls the next day from a huge amount of guest saying how great everything including the cake was.

I explained the whole cake delima and she said that maybe since her cake was simple they had no problems with it? Just an FYI I guess.

Our banquest manager was Tom.. Cant wait!!! So far Ive heard nothing but great reviews..

one reason we went with sandcastle other than the place being so pretty, was its not a factory like type place & even though its has 2 rooms , one is upstairs & one is down. after we put down the deposit we foudn out the same night that its some firemans dinner or something which made me even more happy..

we had a food tasting too , which thru these chats I see alot of people complained they couldnt get one, Just ask!!! they are very very accomadating there....
