a few updates

so...
DH's car died so we are a one car family now... not fun. i have to drive him to work, go in to my job late, work through lunch to make up the time, and then stay late so i can go and pick him up. Not the end of the world but could really do without.

his surgery is scheduled in 2-weeks. so much to do with the house before then and again, one car makes it difficult. hope all goes well and his recoup isnt too bad. found out he doesnt get STD from his job so if he is out too long we basically lose his salary so LIW prayers for him to recover not only for his health, but monetarily also.

the lack of two cars forced me to not take the 2nd job i spoke about. makes me sad, but such is life. maybe now i can actually focus on finishing my MBA

then our box spring broke, we had to cut it to get upstairs and now time has taken the toll and it doesnt do its job. So on top of my insomnia, im sleeping on a bed with zero support. it actually dips in the middle and is SO uncomfortable. I actually slept on the floor last night.

all i see is $$$ out but not enough coming in. HOWEVER, with all the bad, DH and I are still very happy, im having a girls weekend this weekend for a friends bday, i chopped 7 inches of my hair off and while its not too noticable, i feel new. AND i finally baked again. it has been almost a year since i could use all my stuff since i had it packed away in boxes and baking is so refreshing to me, i cant explain how much i needed it .

i miss this site, but i cant go online at work anymore so by the time i get home and cook, i just want to relax. Miss you girls, keep in touch

When it rains, it pours. I'm so sorry you're having a rough time right now. I'll keep you and your DH in my prayers, especially for a speedy recovery.
