Unfortunately this is more common than we hear about. My DH is always telling me stories from work, where ppl throw things like this at cops.

i have heard quite a few stories about this sort of attack. it was most recently in the news with a former model from britain (katie piper) who has SEVERE burns all over her face. she made a documentary about this and luckily her attackers are serving life in jail.
